AdSpy Pro
This is a user’s guide aimed at introducing you to the
AdSpy Pro Software.
What AdSpy Pro IS NOT
AdSpy Pro IS NOT a
keyword tool. What does this mean? It means AdSpy Pro IS NOT a tool
that you simply load up with hundreds or thousands of keywords and then
turn it on hoping for some kind of miracle report that will turn your
income into some overnight success! AdSpy Pro is a "Profitable Ad"
locating tool. And the higher quality information you give it at first
to work with the higher quality results you can expect from it. Have
you ever heard of the term "Garbage
In, Garbage Out"? Well that term defintely fits this tool!
If you just randomly select a list of hundreds or
thosands of keywords (Garbage) and load them into AdSpy Pro then
garbage is exactly what you will get from an AdSpy Pro report. Save
yourself a lot of time and headache and just don't do that!
What AdSpy Pro IS
As stated above AdSpy Pro is a "Profitable Ad"
locating tool. Now just stop and think about that statement for a
moment. What would be or what is a "profitable
ad"? Well common sense would tell us that for any ad to be
profitable it would first of all require one major thing...TRAFFIC. In
other words if you have nobody viewing your ad then there really is no
way for that ad to become profitable is there? And if this tool is
designed to reveal to you "profitable ads" then it only makes sense
that there is one thing it requires MOST OF ALL in order to give you
quality results. What would that be? Well of course it would be a list
of keywords that you ALREADY KNOW are "high traffic"
or "highly
searched on" keywords or keyword phrases. And THAT AdSpy Pro cannot tell you and
is NOT designed to show you.
For quality results you MUST BEGIN
with a list of keywords or keyword phrases that you already know are
high traffic or highly searched on keywords or terms. And for that to
happen you have to use a "Keyword
Tool" such as
the free keyword tool at WordTracker. You have to use your own
judgement as to what is a "highly
searched on" term however if a term is not receiving at least 30
searches per day I would doubt that it would be worth persuing.
IMPORTANT
NOTE: If
you are using AdSpy Pro on a "shared" or standard web hosting account
then you should never load more than 250 to 300 keywords total over all
campaigns into the system!
Benefit
Of AdSpy Pro
It tracks Affiliate PPC Campaigns within a given period
of time for any keyword given. This will allow you the user to identify
not only which ads are “profitable”, but also which keywords are
“profitable” for those advertisers using them. ADSPY PRO removes all
the guess work, testing, and all the trial and error methods out of the
equation allowing you the user to simply reproduce only the “profitable
ads” and ppc campaigns which you locate.
To make it simple it’s a
Competitive Intelligence Tool using “spy” methods. Its main use is for
affiliate ads “cloning” although it can be used to identify profitable
markets, products, affiliate programs, lead generation programs and
more.
Brief Overview: How it works
-
User creates a campaign using "highly searched on"
keywords he wants to
track in order to locate related profitable ads
-
ADSPY PRO will then collect PPC ads, and identify
the affiliate ads against the non affiliate ads
-
An affiliate ad can be
o
A Redirect affiliate ad which uses an affiliate link to
link from the ad to the affiliate program
o
A Landing Page affiliate ad where the ad first redirects
to a “landing page” which belongs to the affiliate. This landing page
then in turn is used to promote an affiliate program, and thus links
back to the affiliate program promoted
-
Then all the ads are tracked during whatever period
of time the user has defined when creating the campaign
-
Reports are created and the user can, at any time:
o
See the profitable campaigns at a glance with a “profit
signal” which reveals if “unchanged” ads have been found inside a given
campaign, and qualify the “unchanged” rate
o
See the ads which belong to a given keyword
o
See the number of times each ad has been found unchanged
during the tracking period
o
Click on any URL (where the ad redirects) and see all the
ads which are redirecting to this URL (ad variations)
o
Click on an affiliate ID and see all the keywords this
affiliate uses to promote the program
o
See all the other affiliates promoting any given program
o
See the most profitable ads /affiliate ads in the system
thus quickly locating the most “profitable” (unchanged) campaign out of
all the campaigns.

You can quickly view
details of each of the above by either clicking on any active number
link, ie., 12 or by clicking on the [View] links.
Quick
Start Guide
Step 1: Use a
keyword tool such as WordTracker
to
identify a list of "highly searched on"
terms for your niche or topic.
IMPORTANT
NOTE: If
you are using AdSpy Pro on a "shared" or standard web hosting account
then you should never load more than 250 to 300 keywords total over all
campaigns into the system!
Step 1: Click
on the "My Campaign" link,
then click on the "Create New
Campaign".

Step 2: Give
the campaign a Title. Then
insert the Keyword or Keywords
you want to
begin to track. (1 per line) Next fill in the Duration time. (number of
days for campaign to last or track) Then select the Network you wish to use. (at this
time the software only supports Google) And finally select the Data Center using the drop down menu.

Step 3: Click
on the "Save" button.
Step 4: Decide
if you want to use Proxies or not. If so then to the "My
Settings" and select the "Administrative
Settings" link.

Then put a check mark
inside the box next to "Use
Proxy". Next fill out the rest of the boxes. Optimal settings
are in the image below however you may choose to experiment a bit. When
done click on the "Update" button.

Step 5: The
last thing that you will need to do is to setup cron tasks for the
software to be able to operate hands free. AdSpy Pro will not operate
without the use of these crons!
Each and every web
hosting account have different configurations and so there is no way of
knowing exactly what cron command will work for your particular
hosting. You will need to contact your web hosting support and ask them
for the cron command that will run a php script on your web hosting
account. The below cron command is "only" a sample and should not be
construed as the one that will work for your install.
You
will need to use your web hosting control panel to
setup the cron tasks to run. If using proxies you will need to setup
both of these, if not using proxies then you will only need to setup
the first cron below:
**cron command**
/home/**username**/public_html/**adspyfolder**/getads.php
**cron command**
/home/**username**/public_html/**adspyfolder**/proxychecker.php
In the above you will
need to replace **cron command**
the command that your hosting support gives to you. Next you will need
to replace **username** with the username of your web hosting account
and finally you will need to replace **adspyfolder** with the name of
the folder that you have installed AdSpy Pro into.
Finally you should not
set the cron commands to run any more often than every six hours and
once per day would be better.
NOTE: As
stated above each web hosting account will be different so there is
just no way for us to give you any more help with matters of cron. You
will need to contact your web hosting support about this issue and not
the AdSpy Pro support team.
