PROXY PAGE HELP FILE
NOTE:
If you are using a "shared hosting" environment for your AdSpy Pro
installation then you should NEVER have more than 250 to 300 keywords
total over all campaigns in the system. Therefore you will have no real
use for using the inbuilt Proxy system. Using proxies is more for those
who will be utilizing a "dedicated server" and hence will be operating
at a higher volume and will need to use proxies.
b) Manage Proxy
- Here you will find a list of all proxies being used. AdSpy Pro comes
pre-installed with a few proxies that you can use. If you find that you
need more proxies then you will need to locate them on your own as we
are not in the proxy maintenance business. Proxies are a whole world of
their own. There is a learning curve to locating them, using them, and
maintaining them. If you are one who is operating at the volume level
where you will need to use proxies then you really should already have
knowledge of and about proxies. The whole inbuilt proxy system is
included with our software as an added value service for those who find
they will need to use them. However it is not our business to train you
on how to locate them, use them, nor maintain them. There are already
plenty of services online today which you can locate by doing a google
search about this industry. It is up to you to get the education about
proxies, not our support team. So
please do not contact our support about where to locate proxies, how to
use proxies, nor how to maintain working proxies.

The
AdSpy Pro system will check that the proxies are valid before using
them. If one is not valid it will re-try it and then retry another one.
If none are found when the proxy mode is activated, then the ads are
not collected and a message is sent to the admin.
Within the Admin / Proxy manager, you can
-
Check the current proxy (by checking one of the rows, and then clicking
the "check proxy" at the bottom of the table
- You can edit / delete them
- You can add new proxy
To
add a new proxy you will need to use the "Add new proxy" link at the
top of the page.

In the box pictured above you simply add your proxy, make sure if you
add more than one that each one is on it's own separate line.
